There is no requirement to attend virtual workshops on the live session date. If you do not show up, you will still have access to the recording and materials. This is entirely up to you. It is your responsibility to remember the course dates you have registered for and to have the appropriate technology needed to connect.

Workpants reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule workshops due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a workshop cancellation, we will offer you the option to transfer to another date, choose another online workshop instead or to receive your fee paid in credit for a future workshop booking.

Workshop Participant Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate your participation if you do not comply with our conduct, community or group participation guidelines or engage in other disruptive behaviour in any way on any of our communication channels or platforms. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Payment

You are required to pay for products and services in full at the time of purchase.

1:1 career counselling

Sessions are held with a qualified career counsellor.

Sessions are 1 hour in length and require prepayment at the time of booking.

All sessions are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet. A link will be sent to you as soon as you complete your booking via Calendly. Please keep an eye on your spam or promotions folders and make sure you complete this transaction with your correct personal information – especially your email address. Workpants will not be held liable for misplaced orders due to incorrect spelling of your email address.

1:1 career counselling session reschedule/refund conditions are outlined below:

• You will be sent a pre-session survey to complete - please do so at least 24 hours before your session.

• We reserve the right to reschedule any session and will give you as much notice as possible.

• You may only reschedule your 1:1 career counselling once and we require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Only one transfer per booking is allowed, and it must be used within 3 months of the original session date. A refund option is not offered on an already transferred session if you cannot attend the second date, you will forfeit your payment as per the rules of our no-show policy.

• No-show policy: If you do not show for your call, you will forfeit your payment. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or reschedule missed appointments. Please ensure you are available at the scheduled time to make the most of your session. By this stage we will have booked a career counsellor for you.

• Late arrivals: We will wait on the video call for 15 minutes, if you do not arrive within the first 15 minutes of your appointed session time we will consider you a “no-show” and the no-show policy will apply. If you have any issues getting onto your call it is your responsibility to make a reasonable attempt to contact us. The best place to reach out for help is via our email ali@workpants.com.au.au. We recommend jumping online slightly earlier than your call to make sure you have the correct session link and the right tech access to complete the call. We will only extend your session [or reschedule] if there has been a tech failure at our end [i.e. If the wrong link was sent or if there’s an outage with our call provider (Zoom/Google Meet) or if our agent cannot connect online (We will also make a reasonable attempt to reach out to you via phone or email in these circumstances, please ensure you’re able to be contacted)].

• We reserve the right to review your booking [via the survey responses] so that we can ensure we’re able to achieve a reasonable outcome as per your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If we do not think that your desired outcome is achievable through this service we will work with you to provide recommendations for other services of ours that are a better fit [and will transfer your purchase credit towards them]. If a suitable solution cannot be agreed upon we will provide you with either a full refund where no work has yet to be carried out by us or a partial refund less any time we have spent on preparing for/providing this service.

Workpants will carry out all services using an acceptable level of care and skill. We will take reasonable steps to avoid causing loss or damage when providing this service. However, Workpants will not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage that may arise from the provision of these services.
